THE
SPECIALISTS IN BATTLEFIELD
MEMORIAL AND PILGRIMAGE TOURS
World War One & World War Two
The original Birmingham War
Research Society was founded over 30 years ago by Alex Bulloch, then a
serving Birmingham City Police Officer, and friends. It is organised and
run mainly by serving and retired Police Officers and Ex-Servicemen. It
is run as a charitable hobby supporting the Commonwealth War Graves
Commission, the R.B.L. Poppy Appeal, Normandy Widows and Veterans as
well as other charities. It assists in taking relatives, friends, and
others to visit the Battlefields and Cemeteries in Northern Europe.
To trace a War Grave or obtain
any information regarding same, telephone the Commonwealth War Graves
Commission on 01628 634221.
Tours are planned around
individuals' cemetery requests. The visit to the Cemetery or
Memorial is guaranteed providing prior arrangements are made with the
organisers.
Congratulations to Alex Bulloch
who was awarded the MBE in the 2008 New Year Honours
for his services to the Society.

In accordance
