The War Research Society is a long-established organisation with many years' experience of running coach tours to the battlefields of Northern Europe.
We offer a friendly, personal service and are also specialists in including pilgrimage visits to the War Cemeteries of Northern Europe for veterans and/or their next of kin.

Our Tours this year cover Germany, Holland, France and Belgium. They are all of 5 days/4 nights duration except where indicated. All trips are inclusive of Bed, Breakfast and Evening Meal and all hotel rooms have en-suite facilities. The price also covers all coach travel between point of pick-up and drop off.

Executive coaches are used throughout the tour, equipped with reclining seats, video, toilet and drink making facilities. All Channel crossings are by P & O Ferries. Full itineraries are given to you on boarding the coach. Mini Buses may be used to pick up groups north of Birmingham to connect with main coach by arrangement with the Tour Organisers. There is a £15.00 per person supplement for Pick-ups North of Hilton Park with £10.00 per person supplement from Hilton Park.

SPECIAL VISITS: Cemeteries, Memorials and Battle Sites. The Organisers regard this as one of the focal points of the trip but due to the number of requests and remoteness of some locations prior arrangements must be made with the organisers. The Society has its own 7 seat Carrier for visiting certain Cemeteries. A Service of Remembrance is normally held on each trip.

All trips leave Kings Norton Police Station, Wharf Road, Kings Norton, Birmingham at 10.30pm the night before the first day advertised.

A deposit of £60.00 per person plus £21.00 insurance/ over 75 years of age £26.00 (except the Berlin tour when the insurance is £23 or £30 for over 75s)is payable on booking. The balance is payable not later than ten(10) weeks prior to date of departure without further notice.

ALL TRAVELLERS MUST BE COVERED BY EITHER OUR INSURANCE OR A COMPREHENSIVE POLICY OF THEIR OWN, A COPY OF WHICH MUST BE SENT TO THE TOUR ORGANISERS. THE NEW EUROPEAN HEALTH INSURANCE CARD (FORMERLYE111)IS ALSO REQUIRED.

A single room supplement of £20.00 per night is payable.

Poppy Fund Wreaths can be supplied at £22.00 each. Cheques payable to S.Paterson.

Cheques for Tours Payable to "War Research Society".

A stamped addressed envelope must be enclosed with all correspondence.
